Schedule 2 – Game Rules (Slot Games and Instant Win Games)

These Rules for Instant Win Games or Slot Games apply when You play any Instant Win Game or Slot Game. Each Instant Win Game or Slot Game also has its own Game Specific Rules that apply to that Instant Win Game or Slot. 

1 Game termination

1.1. Carnival Lotto may announce the closing date for an Instant Win Game or Slot Game at any time. Carnival Lotto will place notifications on the Site which will set out when the Instant Win Game or Slot Game is going to close. In exceptional circumstances, Carnival Lotto may close an Instant Win Game or Slot Game without giving prior notice.

2 Defective games

2.1. Where instructed by the Jersey Government, Carnival Lotto will, or Carnival Lotto may (in its absolute discretion), declare that a Play or an Instant Win Game or Slot Game is defective. In these circumstances, all relevant Plays of that Instant Win Game or Slot Game and all relevant Prizes won will be void and Carnival Lotto will either:

2.1.1. Give You an opportunity to play another Play of equivalent price; or

2.1.2. Reimburse to Your Account the Funds used to purchase the defective Play.

2.2. Carnival Lotto will decide which of 2.1.1 or 2.1.2 above shall apply.

2.3. You have no right to cancel a Play.

2.4. Subject to Paragraph 2.1 above, no reimbursement of any Funds used to purchase any Play will be given in any other circumstances.

2.5. In the event that a defect or anomaly occurs whilst playing a game, any prize value recorded in either the Carnival Lotto or, where applicable, any third party providers system will be determined as the correct outcome of the game at the discretion of Carnival Lotto.

3 Incomplete games

3.1. If You do not complete an Instant Win Play within 7 days (168 hours) after buying it, the Carnival Lotto Computer System will play out the Instant Win Game to its completion on Your behalf immediately following the expiration of the 7 day (168 hour) period. Incomplete Slot Game Plays will be voided with the stake being returned to your player balance. 

3.2. A Pay to Play Game is considered complete when its outcome status in the ‘My Games’ section of Your Account on the Site shows whether or not there is a Win.

 

4 Interrupted Games

4.1. Where electronic communication is lost between the player and the gaming system a play will become defined as Incomplete. At this point the rules regarding incomplete games come into force.
